This week is our GOTR practice 5K. It will be the first time the girls have attempted 3.1 miles. Some of them are really excited and some are petrified at the thought of going that distance. The GOTR coaches do their best to keep the girls motivated, but depending on the girl, the day, and the weather, sometimes that’s easier said than done.
We’d love for you to share your insights with us and the girls by commenting below. What do you do to motivate yourself to get out the door and run? What do you do when you’re tired and don’t think you can run another step?
