While the GOTR coaches do an excellent job educating the girls about nutrition, exercise, positive body image, etc., we want to offer additional information to parents and to girls.  That is why we’ll be posting one blog meant especially for GOTR parents and one for GOTR girls.  Got questions?  We’ve got answers.  Use the Ask Us link to submit a question–it can be about the health habits of girls or your own.  Because let’s face it, if you have a question, I bet a lot of other parents have the exact same question.  So you might as well go ahead and ask it!  Then check back for an answer.

So you’re probably thinking, “Who is it who will be answering these questions and posting these blogs?”  Well, let me tell you a little bit about me.  My name is Mary Pritchard.  I have a PhD is Psychology and I am a Professor at Boise State University.  I specialize in Health Psychology and the Psychology of Eating.  That means I teach classes in those areas, give workshops and presentations to companies and conduct research as well.  If your daughter was in the program last year, I was the researcher conducting all the surveys and helping GOTR prove that it really is an awesome program!  This year, I also happen to be a coach for GOTR.  If you can’t tell already, I’m a really big supporter of this program and a firm believer in its effectiveness.  I’m here to help you get as much out of the GOTR program as your daughter does!
